The Siddha Yoga Meditation Center of Seattle is sustained by seva,
or selfless service. Everything done at the center from sweeping
the entry to washing the dishes and hosting satsangs is accomplished
by those who volunteer at the Center to practice seva. Participating in seva provides an opportunity
to experience one's own inner love, and to share this great experience
with the community.
Read more about seva at www.siddhayoga.org/practices/seva/seva.html.
The transformative practice of seva connects you to the
community and is a powerful Siddha Yoga practice that can
connect you to your own inner Self. This practice is known
in the Bhagavad Gita as karma yoga, and it shows us the way to
turn our daily actions into worship.
